I love family. When the opportunity comes up to be a part of someone’s family life, I jump at it! People who are committed to and love each other enough to spend time together and capture a portrait of the time just encourage me so much in my life. Hannah and I took some wonderful pictures of this family in North Austin recently at their home. The husband and wife are both retired and enjoy caring for their plants and land so we agreed that it would make a perfect backdrop for their family portrait. Their son was here from the upper NW of the US for a few days, and the family spent the day hiking together in the outdoors. After they were all tuckered out, we met at their home to take a few pictures. There were lots of places around their property for wonderful photographs, and we took several different settings. This final location, on the back deck overlooking a nice valley, was one of my favorites.
