My interest in the arts began when I was very young with everything from drawing to music to dance, and I started assisting my dad with photography in August of 2007. Photography is more rewarding to me on some levels because a photograph often evokes a memory more effectively than other media. The transition of an event or time in one’s life from the actual experience to the memory of it to its loss altogether has always been difficult to accept, and photography provides the opportunity to preserve those memories longer.
