I love the light you can get in a doorway; even on a cold and very overcast day it just works. And Owen was very amenable to letting me make a nice portrait of him.

This is my second year of making a daily photograph with intentionality. 2017 was my first year and I really enjoyed it.
I love the creative process and working to make something new every single day pushes me out into the world to see new things and capture them. I'm constantly trying new things and then working with them for several images, playing with variants and experimenting. I'm trying not to be too picky and if I get in a bind I'll photograph wherever I am.
